Fertilizing Regimen for Roses grown in Pots

Steve, a champion Florida rose grower, grows all his roses in pots and waters daily. He uses organic fertilizing as follows:

Hybrid Teas Minis
Week 1: ½ cup Milorganite 2 TBSP.
½ cup soybean meal
Week 2: 1/3 cup "SulPoMag"
½ cottonseed meal "
Week 3: 1 cup gypsum 1/3 cup
1 cup alfalfa ¼ cup
Then begin the rotation all over again.

Weekly Liquid Feeding:
Fill a 32 gallon garbage can with water.
Add: 1 and ½ cups Peter's Plant Food 10-30-20
½ cup Miracle Grow 15-30-15
½ cup Sequestrene
1 TBSP. Manganese Sulfate (or Chelated Palm Nutrient)
1 cup fish emulsion
Stir well and apply with sump pump or pour on by pail.
Amounts: 1 and ½ pint on minis in 7-10 gallon pots
½ gallon on HTs in 33 gallon pots , 1 gallon on inground plants.
